Occasionally I surf over to Photub to check out what’s going on.  Tonight I found something really outstanding.  It sparkled my mind and I think it has the potential to open and entirely new world for me.  I like macro work, and want to get good at product photography.  These niches are all about lighting.  Andrew at Photub had a post up entitled, “Gel Mods and Cheap Slave Flashes” and in it he mentioned a Photography Blog  called Strobist.  On Strobist I read the article Andrew mentioned, and found that there is a wealth of excellent information there about lighting.  I immediately subscribed to their feed and I expect I’ll be spending lots of time learning about lighting.
